Hi
Looking for information on Janet Dawson born 02/09/1764 to John Dawson and Margaret ?? in Alloa. The surname has variations of Dauson, Dausone, Dawsone.
She married John Scotland 04/10/1783 in Alloa. Her possible death is 06/10/1842 in Dunfermline.
Any information about her family would be appreciated.

Hi fifanc, John dawson born dec 1735 stirling, married margaret ferguson 19 march 1757. born 1737
they had 4 children Janet1764     married john archibald
                             william 1757
                             margaret 1759
                             john 1761

Hello, Janet Dauson/Dawson and John Scotland are my 4 x gt grandparents. I don't know masses of info but I found on the IGI on familysearch.org that Janet has siblings:
James Dauson christened 17/8/1754
Thomas Dauson christened 6/1/1756
William Dauson christened 12/2/1757
Margaret Dauson christened 4/10/1759
John Dauson christened 15/11/1761.

I found these on the original site for familysearch.org. Today I was having trouble replicating those findings on the new site.
Have you gone any further in your research since you first posted this query?

Janet and John are my 4x grandparents as well. I have more info on them and the extended family. I am related through their son John, who married Elizabeth Bowman.

Hi Charlie, I am related through their son Thomas, who married Isabel Foster, and I have been tracing the Scotland side but haven't really done anything at all on the Dauson/Dawson side. I can see that I do have John and Elizabeth and their children on my family tree . I look forward to sharing information with you.

G'day,  This information is possibly of no value to your research, however, here it is :
A Janet Dawson married James McKenzie on 19 June 1713 in Alva, also a Janet Dawson was the daughter of James Dawson and Agnes McKenzie (b. 24 November 1851.
