Title: Maitlands in Ireland

My husband's great grandfather Robert Maitland was born in Ireland in 1922 or 1923 (possibly Co Antrim) and may have married there before moving to England to work in the Durham coalfields.

Can anyone find details of his marriage - probably some time between 1840 and 1852. His wife's name was Mary. That's all the info I have.

Murphicle's message on 26th April 05 says there was confusion about the date of Robert's birth but also says that he was born in Comber. Murphicle thinks Robert was born around the 1811 - 1813 period.
