Hi,
I was hoping to find a person that e-mailed me but I did not receive the mail until a year later! He was in a MURTAGH board and the subject line was FOLEY. His ID name was Loughs. He said he had some photographs of my grandfather and his family - the Murtaghs which he came across some years back in a house in Bogganfin, Ballymurray. The former owner of the house was a close friend of Rose Foley, my Great Aunt. He said he attached photos to the post, but none were there. He asked me to contact him, but the e-mail is not active any more.
I would love to learn more of my Murtagh Family. Thomas Murtagh lived in Ballymurray after her retired. His wife was Ellen Brennan. They had Rose, Michael, John, Wm James and Patrick Stephen. Rose married Daniel Foley and lived in the house in Ballymurray after Thomas and Ellen died. Dan died in 1956.
I would love to locate their graves and any info on the family.
