I would appreciate a lookup for family of Thomas Davys in Raddington. I have him in 1851 at Moor House. I would like to establish if he is at Moor House in 41 & 51 with wife Jane. He was born Raddington abt 1810.
Many thanks

thank you so much Suz - this Davys family is proving a bit of a nightmare to put together ie lots of brothers all naming the children the same!! Stiil, that's part of the fun.

Would you like me to post the enumerators walk for these census - and where the Davys are living??
Suz
-
that would be so helpful - thank you. It is possible that Moorhouse and Washers are the same place so knowing the names of the various farms Davys were on would aid sorting who was who.

Hi Sonia,
I just came across this thread and thought I would see if my message gets to you - this is my family ! Or part of it anyway. Thomas and Mary Ann Davys at Kingston Farm were the brother and sister of my great grandparents James and Sarah Davys who emigrated to New Zealand. A very odd statement I know - but Thomas and James were brothers and they married sisters Mary Ann and Sarah Norman.
Anyways, would love to hear from you and compare notes.
