Title: Personal message query
Post by: greyingrey on Sunday 16 January 11 19:13 GMT (UK)
I've just checked my emails & it said I had a personal message from Roots Chat. I deleted it from my email inbox, as it was getting rather full & came over to Roots Chat to check it.....but it isn't here.

I usually do this without problems....I reckon it can only be one of 3 posters.....should I send each a quick message ?

Could it have been a recent one that you have already read?   I do that sometimes!

That's all I can think of....it's possible...better just send a quick message to the 3 posters to check.

Sorry for troubling you all

No, I seem to have been right....checked this morning & there was a new message in here for me with the same heading, but it hasn't registered in my "normal" emails

Perhaps you could explain the problem so we can help you figure this out.
Your original message said you got an email saying you had a PM but when you checked on Rootschat the PM wasn't there?
Now there's another message in your emails "with the same heading" but it "hasn't registered in my "normal" emails"- do you mean doesn't appear as a new PM? at top of page you should see Welcome back, greyingrey, you have X messages, X are new (with X being a number)

I am having a lot of trouble using this web site.  I wish there was an e-mail or message to the moderator with a question.

Hi John

Welcome to Rootschat :D

Now you have posted 3 times you should be able to send the member a personal message - click on the green scroll thing on the left below their name.

Hope that helps

Jan ;)
