Hi Garry

Sorry we haven't been able to help you much so far on this one.

Have you made any progress,  or do you have any further details that could help someone to find what you are looking for?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes

Hi Garry  ;)

Are you doing a One Name Study on the entire family name or are you just after information on particular individuals?  :)

If the latter is the case I will gladly move the post for you to a more relevant board which may help to generate a response for you.   Please let me have any information on possible locations (County etc.) so I can place it in the right board.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes

Hi Ticker, I'm actually looking for any info about my GrGrGrGrandparents. I have tried one name boards, with no results. I'm on a number of genealogy lists. My Feeney's seem to have just vanished after my GrGrGrandfather & mother left Ireland. 4 of her siblings came to Australia prior to their arrival in 1851, there were still 5 other siblings & her mother left in Ireland, whose names we can't find.

Have a Great 2005, Regards Garry

Hi Garry

Thanks for the reply and the good wishes for 2005.  Have a great one yourself.  ;)

I'll move your post to the Sligo Board to see if that generates a response for you.  We can always try somewhere else if that doesn't work!

Best wishes

I too would be interested in my family heritage. I'm a Feeney (4th Generation Australia) and believe we are originally from County Sligo (though have done little or no research, but would be interested in getting in contact with Garry who obviously has done.

I don't know if you keep track of this board anymore, but hoping you still do.  My Grandfather was Arthur Edward Taylor, My Great Grandfather was George R Taylor who married Mary Ann Feeney.  That would make John M Feeney my GGG Grandfather and Miles Feeney my GGGG Grandfather.  It's a small world.  If you still watch this board please contact, I live in Phoenix, AZ.
Thanks

Hi again Garry, I'm having no luck replying to your PM.  I received your PM but it won't let me respond  because I'm not allowed to send messages???
I do have a tree on Ancestry.com Russell Siemantel Family Tree.  I will work on trying to get help sending a PM...  Edward Arthur Taylor died on 2 Sept 1950 in Amarillo Texas of a heart attack in his sleep.
