Does anyone have a connection with sarah fothergill born 1799 from gravesend, her father was anthony and her mother sarah johnson. How far in the tree can you go back , help please

yes i totally agree with you, its just difficult trying to get to the right year ! I tried it just now i took a stab at one of the lines and was miles off the year i wanted then tried again and it jumped on too far !
anyway i suppose i need a whole day, there isnt a short cut on the search engine.

If you do a search of Rootschat you will find that there are several people researching the name FOTHERGILL but they are all "Up North".

1841 both Daughters are at home. So she was Widowed by 1841.
There is a Death Reg on FreeBMD;

Elizabeth and Ann are still together and unm in 1881.

There are Family Trees with Ann born c 1805 as Ann Twiss FOTHERGILL but no extra info on her Mother Sarah JOHNSON.

The JAMES that is Buried 1798 is their Son
Anthony died 1840 and Sarah not til 1861
ANTHONY is the Son of JAMES and Anne WILLOUGHBY who Married 1768
ANN Fothergill nee Willoughby possibly died 1834
I havent found her Husband James Burial ie Anthonys Father.
