Many Rootschatters are familiar with this procedure already, but here is how to make a direct link from the selection
of online Norwegian Parish Registers to your Rootschat posting. (To enable easy translation/deciphering by other Rootschatters!)
i, Find your wanted digitised page on http://www.digitalarkivet.no/cgi-win/WebFront.exe?slag=vis&tekst=meldingar&spraak=e
ii, Select ”Image information:” on top of the screen, and choose ”On Top” this displays permanent links to your page.
iii, Copy the link into your Rootschat posting. It is preferred to use ”Permanent pagelink” as this enables other users to
turn pages & compare handwriting ie.
