Title: Burns Family Caputh and Kinclaven

Hi, I am tracing the lineage of Andrew Burns, Born 1708 in Caputh?, married to Grizal Jackson in Caputh in 1732. They moved to Kinclaven by 1744, where their son James was born in 1744.
Other children are: Andrew B 1734 , John 1738, Jean B 1745 and Margaret B 1754

I have been on the records site and have tracked back to Andrew, but am at a brick wall with his parents.  Any help would be so appreciated

Hello Therese,
I just found this website and your post.  I was stuck at this exact place today, and wondering if you have been able to make any headway over the last couple of years?  My husband's family is from PEI through Andrew and Grizal's son James who married Barbara Stewart in 1776 in Kinclaven.
