Has anyone ever heard of this place? I just did a quick google search and found nothing. Could this be a old spelling/previous name of 'Susworth'? (although the photo isn't that old so I guess this is unlikely). I have a school photograph with 'Suthworth School' on the board (held by the child at the front) but it would make a lot more sense for it to be Susworth. Unless it's not in Lincs at all...

I'm afraid I've never heard of Susworth either, but it does seem to have had a school at some time http://tinyurl.com/6994mhn

No Susworth is a village (near Gainsborough), it's Suthworth I'm having trouble with. Sorry I musn't have explained it well! Thanks though :)

I understood ... it was my reply that was (potentially) dodgy :-[
I was just confirming that there was a school at Susworth and it looks pretty small, perhaps only one teacher and an assitant. Is there no landmark on your photo - a doorway or a window perhaps - that compares with Susworth school?

Oh sorry! Brilliant idea!
Just checked and it's hard to tell. I would say no.

Have a look at this link http://www.rootschat.com/links/0d08/
The background of the top photo (brickwork, windows etc) is exactly the same as your photo. It's Susworth school.

Thank you! :)

Good find rover72! :)
The place has been chopped about a bit since then, it's hard to recognise it ???
