Hi, I'm hoping some kind person might be able to help with any information on David Bruce IVOR & his family.
David was my GGG grandfather. bc 1796 Ireland? Died 28 June 1878, Basin Walk, Newry. Age 82.
He was a bookbinder by trade.
Married Mary Caroline SEMPLE around 1830's.
Mary IVOR died 22 May 1862, Hill St, Newry. Age 60
Their daughter Emily Caroline IVOR bc 1838 Newry, Ireland.
Married John PEATT 18 June 1854, Newry, probably at St Patricks as there is an IVOR grave there.
Emily & John both died in Australia.
Also I haven't been able to find any siblings for Emily, so would really appreciate any information at all.

Hi,
Emily Caroline Ivor married a John SCOTT on 18 Jun 1854 in St. Marys Church of Ireland, Newry.
I don't know if there is a connection but a David Bruce Ivor married Mary Douglas on 31 Aug 1910 in Christchurch Church of Ireland, Shankill, Belfast. His father was John Beswick S. Ivor.
Regards

Emily Caroline IVOR was married to John PEATT. (possible transcription error as Scott?)
John's father Edward PEATT had a bootmakers shop in Hill St, Newry in 1852. Before this Edward was in 7th Battalion, Royal Artillery, British Army
I have quite a bit of information on Emily & John as they immigrated to Australia in 1855.
