Golda COHEN married Lewis BIEST or BIZET March Q 1879 London City volume 1c page 130

If they were naturalised they should appear in the National Archives catalogue.

The Best family is in my tree, but not blood relations. One of Louis and Golda's sons married my 1st cousin twice removed! Have been doing a little research on the family for her granddaughter which is how I've come across your post.

Hello,

I know this thread is several years old, but I’m hoping someone might come across this. I’m very new to researching ancestry and I’d love to get hold of Paul (who posts as sherekhan) if he sees this, as this post increased my knowledge of my family tenfold and I’m eager to hear more!

I’m afraid I can’t really provide much more information, but I’m Charlie Best’s great-granddaughter, so I might be able to give some of the names of his descendants, if it’s useful to anyone.

Thanks very much,
Jen Williams
