Title: Newspapers- Llangranog
Post by: Webby on Thursday 02 June 11 05:06 BST (UK)
Hi List
Further to my Davies enquiry of Llangranog...could someone please tell me if there were any newspapers in the Llangranog area that were printed about 1912 (and up to about 1930).  If so, does the paper still exist? And whether you are able to look at archival back papers...I'm after a death notice(s).

Regards

The paper which would have covered Llangranog was the Cardigan and Tivyside Advertiser, see link here:

Ceredigion Archives are very very helpful with old papers. Get in touch with them and they'll help find stories or specific issues - probably best to visit in person. Very friendly and helpful.

Hi,
Thanks for that info...I would dearly love to visit to do some research, but unfortunately I'm on the other side of the world...have to make do with computers and lovely people helping on Rootschat.
