hi all  :)

i'm now trying to identify the james davie who was named in a paternity case ,
in 1906 , as the father of james davie hampton born 1901 st cyrus

in 1911 james davie hampton is living with his uncle & aunt(george hampton)
his mother was jessie hampton(now have her parents etc.)

there is a james davie b. c1883 brechin living at st cyrus in 1901 , but not with family
i believe he is with his family in 1891 at st cyrus
charles davie and janet ann davie(think this should be jane(nee gold))
charles and jane davie are still in st cyrus in 1901

charles davie and jane ann moir gold marry 1885 in brechin
but james davie is born c1883........so

is james davie the son or stepson of charles davie in 1891 ?
where about in st cyrus was james davie in 1901 ?

jessie hampton was born 1884 so this james davie b c1883 is a possible father of james davie hampton born  july 1901 st cyrus  :-\
