Hello lovely rootschatters, please can you offer some interpretations on the addresses listed in this death certificate? it related to an ancestor named Ewen McLeod. Informant is Wm Beaton (or is it Will?) living in ................. . While Ewen's usual residence looks like David Watson Lane in ............. .
Much obliged for any assistance offered.

The informant looks like W M Beaton to me (Not Wm or Will). Note this is 1954.
Where he died is not necessarily where he lived.
He died at Royal Infirmary ..... Stirling

I agree - I read the informant as:
W M Beaton
Nephew
Macrieston
Thornhill
-
The location is David Watson Lane, Gargunnock, Stirling.

I thought the place of death might be David Watson Home, Gargunnock - Lane doesn't look quite right to me.

Yes, FreckNeale..it's David Watson Home (as per Google Books)..well done! And Macrieston, Thornhill looks right too. Dazey

Thankyou!!! I knew you'd help.
I just googled Macrieston Thornhill and found them straight away, the family could still be down there it seems. And your correct, the informant was William Malcom Beaton.
Many many thanks :D
