Title: Flood family bible - any sightings?
Post by: robbo43 on Thursday 23 June 11 13:16 BST (UK)
The family bible vanished in the early 1960s when a great aunt died and a member of the family removed a number of items, including the bible, before the executors of her will were able to deal with the property.

My best guess is that it either ended up in the USA or with someone living in the Bournmouth area of England.  The latter person has since died as has his wife and in this case it would have ended up with her relatives to whom it would have been of no interest.

It is likely to have contained information about the Flood plus Taylor amd or Pomeroy families. I don't want the bible but would like details of the information it contains

More in hope than expectation

It may have had members of the Lamborn family as well as the Floods
