Exploring Mayhew family connections in Wissett and was wondering of you knew of any families in Wissett with the same surname?

Yes I have loads of Mayhews from Wissett.
My ggg grandmother was Mary Mayhew bap Wissett 22/7/1787, daughter of Robert Mayhew and Elizabeth Stocks. I have them back to Thomas and Jone c1530.
I have a great deal of info on a great many Mayhews, including contacts with other descendants. Where do you fit in?

I have Mayhews from Campsea Ashe, Holbrook, Hacheston and Metfield. Dont have an idea where Wissett is within Suffolk, funny as I know the geography of Suffolk quite well.

Am new to Rootschat. Have read pdadme's comment about the Mayhews of Wisset. I don't yet know how to contact members using Rootschat. I am an American descendent of Robert Mayhew and Mary Spurling. Am interested in learning more about them. My mother came from Enfield.

Am also a descendant of Robert Mayhew and Elizabeth Stocks. My great-grandmother was Mary Ellen Mayhew, daughter of Robert Mayhew and Elizabeth Emmett.

nee farr .george william i believe came out victoria .aust.with his mother, mary ann mayhew <nee farr> george william was the brother of my ggg
grandfather thos. fred. mayhew whocame out to n.s.w.in the early 1840s
george. william was married to mary younghusband and died in victuria
23/5/1864 george .williams father was born in wissett 4/3/1786 and was bapt. 12/3/1786 in st.andrews wissett .i spent 2 days in wissett in 1999 and had a good look arround this village and its surrounds george williams dad ,and mary anns spouse had died in london about 1852.i have the tree going back to ggggggg father robert so if ican help let me know.r.f.mayhew

Elizabeth Clarke .M.8.6.1709,Withersdale but before that it is a bit vague are you

This is not the correct Mary, he married Mary Spurling born 1782 in Burston, the marriage was also in Burston and she is with her father WIlliam in Burston in 1841 as his housekeeper.
