(this is my first post here)
I'm a direct descendant of Isaac and Elizabeth, via their son James and his son Frank, whose third son (Wilfred) was my grandfather. Frank and his family moved to Kent in the 1920's to work in the mines there. So far the census records show that from Isaac to Wilfred, they are all coal miners. does your information on Isaac's parents show the trade going back further in time?

Hi
I have Thomas Whysall as a coal miner in the 1841 census, living in Hartshay nr Ripley, Derbyshire.
I have it that Thomas was buried 15 May 1846 at St Rumbolds Church, Pentrich Derbyshire
Hope this is of interest
