Looking for the death of John Aitchison son of Helen Aitchison?
John Aitchison was born at Brierryhill, Duns 5th February 1867
He married Janet Collin Renton born 1869 Eccles At Ryselaw Fogo
in 1892.
Janet Aitchison nee Renton died Blakerston, Abbey St. Bathan in 1935 age 67.
The only John Aitchison I have found died in 1913 at Edrom, but the details of parents and wife are wrong.

going by the 1901 census and the 1911 census index
there is a john aitchison age 44 , janet age 42 , helen age 15 , and robert age 12 at ayton berwick in 1911
you'll need to check the 1911 census at Scotlandspeople , this could give you
more children to this couple
if janet was widowed in 1935(as Carole suggests) that would give you a range
of years to search
what about marriages for helen and robert(1928?) that may narrow your search if the father is alive/deceased :-\

Yes his wife was a Widow on her death cert in 1935. Death registered by Daughter Elizabeth Dickson Aitchison.
He was living at Whitmore Ayton in 1911. A Ploughman.
With his kids Robert & Helen and Wife Janet.
The Death cert I found in dated 1913..gives his wifes name as Elizabeth (It should be Janet) and his mothers name as Elizabeth Dickson.
Elizabeth Aitchison nee Dickson, was his Grandmothers name. Helen was his Mothers name.
