I have received a lot of help tracing the Jenkins family which I very much appreciated,however I am stuck again !!!
Charlotte Mary Jenkins arrived in New York in 1907 I cannot read the address she had given for her new residence I am not familiar with the USA states /county can anyone please help trace where Charlotte went after her arrival in 1905

On the first page, the final destination is checkmarked. The person above her was going to Toronto, Ontario (Canada). I assume the check means she and Evelyn also had the final destination of Toronto.
I am still trying to figure out the destination (for relative or friend) on the second page, but it is Ontario.
Update: Possibly going to Mr. Browe(?), ?, Ontario.
The town was possible Arnprior.
"Browe" does look like Crowe.

Frederick Wm Crowe. Born 1882 Bucknell. England and aged 26 years., married, farm labourer. Crossed the border from Canada to the USA December 1908 (so just after the 25 Nov 1908 marriage to Charlotte) - Port of arrival was St Albans, Vermont.
Last permanent residence was Arn Prior. Nearest relative:- Brother Henry Crowe. Davidson. Sask. Canada.
Going to brother Jefferson Crowe. Plover. Iowa. First landed Halifax. Canada on March 4 th 1905 on SS Bavarian,

Wonder if they returned to Canada at some time after 1930. There is this death record in British Columbia for a Frederick William Crowe which might fit (or is it just coincidence ???

Mrs Charlotte Mary Crowe aged 72 years, died Tuesday in Bassett Hospital. Cooperstown, after a long illness. Charlotte was born September 9th 1887 in Weobby ??? Hertfordshire, England, daughter of William and Ann Powell Jenkins. She attended English schools. She was m arried to Frederick William Crowe on 28th November 1908 Armprior, Ontario. Arrived in New York many years ago. Mrs Crowe was a member of the Morris Episcopal Church. Morris Grange. She leaves a husband and 2 daughters, a son and 6 grandchildren. Also a brother Arthur Jenkins of Perry, Iowa and several nieces and nephews.

Sadly - The Ostego Farmer and Republican 1946 - reports the death of the grand-daughter of Mr & Mrs Frederick Crowe and daughter of Mr & Mrs Cyril Crowe - Mary Judith Crowe who was killed instantly by an automobile after she and her younger sister were crossing the road near their home.

29th June 1968 - Newport Daily News reports the death of Mr Edward Dunn, (former basketball star) and father of Natalie Dunn/Crowe.

The Post Standard (Syracuse. New York) reports on December 4 th 1964 in Ithaca that Cyril Crowe aged 52 years of Union Street was charged with driving an unregistered motor vehicle and driving while his license was revoked. Cyril was charged with operating a tractor on a highway when apprehended by a trooper. According to the trooper the tractor must be used for farm purposes exclusively and he charged tha Cyril was using it for other purposes. Cyril's license had been suspended sometyime ago on a charge of driving while intoxicated. Cyril had to appear to answer the charge.

Thank you so much I am amazed what you have found I am still trying to digest it all.
Re post possibility that Fred returned to Canada this is a different person there are 3 F W Crowe one from Bucknall , one from Market Drayton the other from Wrexham. I have noticed that people have assumed all three have the same father (Bucknall) I am glad I rejected the information Fred from Bucknall is definitely the right person.

Obviously realised after post 9 that your Fred was still in New York, due to the amount of material I started to find on the family and eventually the Obituaries for both Fred and Charlotte. Hope it all helps create the bigger picture.

Hi there. I know this is incredibly random, but I'm Evelyn Jenkins' great-grandson. I just did a random google search for family history and found this thread. My paternal grandmother was Evelyn's daughter, and that whole part of the family settled in upstate New York. I live outside of Boston now, and Gloria (the grandmother) is living the good life down in Florida. I bet she has a lot of information you'd be interested in, and of course I'd be fascinated to learn what both of you know! P.S. My grandmother has all sorts of memories and documents related to Charlotte, and it just occurred to me that after my grandfather's funeral in Walton, NY, we stopped briefly by her farm to poke around. On the phone with my grandmother now, and she's telling me Charlotte's son went to Cornell University, although I don't know him. There are also a number of family members not too far from me in Massachusetts.

Hi Liz,
Yes, I am. Charlotte's sister Evelyn, who came to the U.S. with her on the Lusitania, is my great grandmother. Evelyn was my paternal grandmother's mother, but she died young and my grandmother was adopted so our family history has a number of holes in it, but the Jenkins family largely settled in upstate New York, around the Catskill Mountain area. I never met Charlotte, but I did visit her old farm several years ago, where my grandmother was born.
