Visitation of God is listed in the 1909 Manual of the International Causes of Death 2nd Revision As: Cause of death not specified or ill defined. It had been said that death from Visitation of God might imply a punishment from God of someone who was sinful, but it could also mean someone who was blessed by God because they were spared from enduring a distressing illness, or they were rewarded for their virtuous life by admission to heaven. . It was very common in the nineteenth century.

Unfortunately not, they are not in Familysearch or I can't find them anyway. I would have thought it was likely they came from Somerset if their children were baptised at Batheaston.

Charles appears in the 1851 census as the 19 year old son of James (45) and Louisa (43) Kemmery at 10 New Half Moon Street, Bath.  He is the oldest of 8 children. All of the family were born in Batheaston.  Charles 19, Thomas 17, Sarah 17, Ann 12, Eliza 10, James 8, Francis 6, Edward 3.  the younger children can be found on BathBMD, showing that their mother's name was HODGES.
