I have managed [through FS] to trace the majority of the Rudland/Rutland family in North Cray in Kent, however I have come unstuck and would appreciate any help..
John Rudland (b. ?) married Jane (?) where ? their children
(all baptised North Cray,Kent)
Anne 1720; Sarah1722; John 1723; Samuel 1726; Elizabeth 1730; Thomas 1733; Mary 1735; Henry 1737; Katherine 1739 & William 1743.
If anyone has access to the PRs for North Cray [or thereabouts] and could find the marriage for John Rudland and Jane that would be a great help. Indeed any further information for this family would be a bonus. I would love to trace John & Jane further.

IGI has an extracted marriage record of John Rudland to Jane Easterson, 8.9.1719 St Pauls Cray, Kent.
This is very close to North Cray and fits with the birth of 1st recorded child in 1720 .

What a star you are :) Thank you. I couldn't find that, that is too much of a coincidence not to be them I think. I have just aquired Jane's Will and will now get on with transcribing it, hopefully there will be further mention of the Easterton family...

Thank you Patrish. I have now transcribed Jane's will - proved 15 Feb 1796 (written 28 Aug 1784) by which time she was already a widow. In it she lists her surving children
John, Thomas, Henry, William, Mary & Catherine.
My next task is try and trace the details for the other children ...

Cant find a marriage for a John and Mary though. :(

Just to let you know Patrish that you found the right marriage, William the son of John & Jane (Rudland) named his son William Easterson Rudland.. so again many thanks.
