Hi, i have a photo of my husbands grandfather from WW1. we know he was in the Machine gun corps but before that in another regiment. the Great War Forum gents have now confirmed this as the Queens Royal West Surrey Regiment from the cap badge on this photo.
the photo is marked as Whitstable. Does anyone know of a local training camp used in WW1?
put this here rather than army boards because the interest is in the location
of the camp

Hi I also have two WW1 photographs which were taken by the same photographer at what appears to be an army camp. I wonder if the photographer was in Whitstable and the army camp may have been elsewhere. One photo is my Gt Gt Grandfather also in the Queens Royal West Surrey Regiment (per the cap badge) I have not identified the other photograph.
