Title: Restoration with sepia colouring
Post by: patDEN on Sunday 30 October 11 01:27 BST (UK)
This image was recently located behind an old bookcase.  The image measures 38cm x 28cm and although still in its frame, the glass was missing and thus the image not protected for many years. The photo was taken at The Blow Cue Western Australia in 1907.  The couple middle of the picture - my husband's grandparents.  I will be grateful if someone would restore this image (originally a sepia coloured photo) ... perhaps making it sharper and removing the obvious signs of wear & tear.  Many thanks for your time ...

Just Brilliant!  Many thanks to both Carolyn and Sylvia for taking the time to help restore this image.  I appreciate both your time and efforts and I can hardly wait to have each printed off.

She does indeed!  No doubt to protect her from the harsh West Australian sun ... no rain in sight!

OOOh Japeflakes, thank you ... so different ... the image is so much sharper than the original.  I am amazed at what can actually be done to an image!
