Title: Post Office at Llangwyllog
Post by: Tall Al on Thursday 03 November 11 17:46 GMT (UK)
Hi,

Does anyone have any information regarding the above or where it was situated?

Would it be wrong to assume it is no longer in existence and that it has either been demolished or converted into a private house?

I have found the death of a cousin (John Jones) who was living there in 1943, when he died, aged 75 and would like to find out more if possible.

Many thanks

Alan

Hi

Here's a photo of the locality of the Post Office.

Under the photo it says:

he hamlet of Llangwyllog Less than half a century ago, this section of the hamlet housed a Post Office, a smithy and a shop - the Central Stores - as well as the nearby Llangwyllog railway station. All are now just a memory.
