Presumably you have checked freeBMD and not found it?
So, if more detective work is needed, then a bit more info would help.
You say she came to England in 1860 - whereabouts in England?
Have you found her in 1861 census? In 1871/81/91etc? When does she stop appearing in censuses?
What is the last sighting of her?

So Mary is a widow and her mother is not with them. Her husband and Mother may have died in Cheshire?

No Luck with finding Eliza Daly's death as yet.
This could be Michael's as the reg district of Ashton covers newton. His age is out by 5 years though.
Michael McCormack March 1/4 1871 Ashton vol 8d page 330
We know they moved to Cheshire shortly after the 1861 census because Catherine's birth was registered at Stockport in the March 1/4 of 1861 unless her age was out on the 1871 census then hers may be the Dec 1/4 1872 birth registered in Stockport.

thank you, :)

Between 1861 and 1871 there is only one possible death in Lancashire for an Eliza and her surname is Dalery. It is at Prescot and no age is given so a long shot.
No death came up in Cheshire in the same time frame.

I can't find anything definite on young Michael as yet in 1871 and onwards.
The most likely in 1871 is one in Martinscroft age 22 as a lodger but there is also a Thomas McCormack there age 20 so probably a brother (and there isn't brother on the 1861) and this Michael is also 2 years too young although that isn't a big problem.
I'll give it another look later.
