My relative Robert Clarke was born in Liverpool Lancashire in 1877 and was the son of a Timothy Clarke and Hannah Barlow.He married a Lois Jones at Seaforth St Thomas,Lancashire in 1904.Lois's father is given as a Richard Jones on the marriage record and she was also born in Liverpool; in c 1882.The couple had three children,a Richard Timothy born in c 1905,Cooper born in c 1906 and Irene born in c 1909,all born in Liverpool.
Whilst I'm unsure as to when exactly Robert emigrated to the USA,his wife and children are passengers on the Mauretania to New York in February 1913.The family are shown together in the 1930 Census as Clark living in Bloomfield Essex,New Jersey.
I'm looking for any connections and descendants of this family in the USA or any news as to what became of the children.

The passenger manifest of the Mauretania (Feb 1913) says that Richard Timothy was born In Jersey City and Cooper in Pittsburgh.
The 1920 US census has them in Essex County New Jersey, and shows Richard as born in New Jersey and Cooper in PA.

There is a Paul A. Keenan in the Social Security Death Index who was born 31 Dec. 1900, died Dec. 1972, and last resided in Nutley, New Jersey. There is also a WWII Army enlistment record for Paul A. Keenan born 1900 in Rhode Island and residing in Essex, New Jersey. He enlisted on 4 Dec. 1942, was married, and his occupation was draftsman.

Thanks Sandra for your latest replies.It seems I was little too hasty in listing the birthplaces of Richard Timothy and Cooper Clarke!They were incoming passengers from Portland Oregon to Liverpool with Robert and Lois their parents in 1907.Richard Timothy listed as two years old and Cooper what should be five months old.

Robert, Lois and the 3 children were living at 39 South Hill Road. Liverpool in 1911.
Richard was a ships steward. Richard T and Cooper are described as USA resident - British Subjects by parentage.

Robert was listed as a Ships Steward and married on a New York Passenger List 30 April 1904 and stated he had been in the USA previously. Friend Mrs Irene Muller/Nuller, 108 West 17th Street. NY City.
Notice Lois Clarke states (in 1913) she had been in the USA from 1903 - 1907

Thanks Sandra I've seen the 1911 Census but misinterpreted the Richard Timothy and Cooper births.I'm going by the Liverpool 1904 marriage.

Yes, the 1904 Passenger List in reply 12 (30th April 1904) would look like Richard. The nearest New York Passenger List for Lois Clarke, born 1882 and aged 22 years would be departing Liverpool, England to New York arriving 31 st July 1904 on the SS Umbria. Going to husband - Springlake Beach. Springlake. New Jersey.
