Hi,
Looking for William Nield/ Neild in 1861.

1851 census, living with in laws at Mill Brow Derbyshire.

William Neild 31 lab bn Chester
Martha  "      30             Mellor Derbyshire
Killy /Kitty      12                 "          "
Henry            5                   "
Elizabeth        4                   "
Charles           2mth            "

Wife Martha died 1860
William married Nancy Wood 1863
Got the 1871, 1881 census for Wm & Nancy living at Bridget Mill Mellor Derbyshire.

Wm died 1883.

just can't find him in 1861 any help appreciated.

Hello,

the family are transcribed as 'Mild'  1861 RG9   2555  / 21  / 14

William has a new wife Emma and 2 more children (presumably Martha is mother)

There is a death for an Emma Nield Hayfield 1863 1st quarter which is the same quarter as his marriage to Nancy Wood.
