Title: Book on Old Rutland Village schools
Post by: oakhambred on Saturday 14 January 12 18:28 GMT (UK)
If anyone is interested, i have come acros a book called Old village schools of Rutland.   Showing photographs of pupils attending the schools from late 1800s t mid 1900s.  Found this in Ketton Library. Sure it could be obtained in Oakham.  Found family members in Whissendine.

Hi forte,
The book mentioned was borrowed from Ketton Library which I don't have.  Perhaps Oakham can reserve it for you.  Sorry can't help any further.

Regards
Julie
