Hi thanks for that do you know of any other stelfoxes buried in the church? Just wondering what happened to the rest of the family.and was William Henry the last child born in 1881? ;D
-
Does anyone know if hawarden has a burial and parish list like other sites? So you can look up burials and marriages ect?
-
You can try North Wales BMD.
Make sure you choose Soundex, and all regions as there are a few possible mis transcriptions. Marriages have the place of the event.

The LancsOPC website has the bp and birth date of Thomas STEALFOX s/o Thomas and Elisabeth. Also three siblings along with the marriage of their parents. St Laurence, Chorley.
HTH,
Megran.

The LancsOPC website has a bp 23 Sept 1787 for a Thomas STELFOX s/o James and Margaret, St Elphin, Warrington. They have both a William bp 1785 and a Robert bp 1789 at St Elphin.
At St Laurence, Chorley there is a George and Margaret with a dau Martha STEALFOX bp1766 and a son George STELLFOX bp 1777. Possibly the same couple?
The GENUKI website will give you info on the Parishes and Churches etc. A query on the Lancashire Board may bring more info especially with the surname variants. Have you checked the G.O.O.N.S. website? Someone may be conducting a one name study.
