Title: Re:1901 census decoder
Post by: geniedi on Tuesday 20 April 04 16:54 BST (UK)
It's a shame the pro keep "scrambling" the numbers these use. Trying to make it harder for us to purchase the correct image.

Partial 1901 is now on Ancestry and the search engine ,although not as flexible does let you see who else is in the household, before you download the image.

If the pro did that people wouldn't have to use these decoders in the first place.

Yes i know what you mean it can be expensive to search the 1901 census online if you havent any idea were they could be or who they married i find the decoder at least helpfull at first to try and find out were they are before paying for the image.
