My ancestors, Michael Foley and his wife Catherine are mentioned in the censuses from 1855 till 1901 as being travelling grocer Nairnshire, I was wondering if there would be any record of this in Local papers etc.

have you looked at the website libindx at all?
they have lots of records there and i just found this one that could be a reference to your Michael's death reported in the local newspapers in 1910:

Many thanks for the information, I am certain that is Michael Foley his wife was Catherine Ross and she was born Ireland in 1831. Her Father was Angus Ross and I think Angus was serving as a soldier in Ireland. The Libindx site has a lot of interesting history on it.
