hi, John is my name.
I'm looking for information on the following person:
1st name: Phoebe or Phebe
2nd name: believed to be Elizabeth
Surname: Haydon / Hadon / Hayden
I have information which indicates she was born in Mixbury, Northamtonshire in 1821 (+/- 1). Parents not known
Married in October 1845 to George Adams Meakins in Middlesex (St Margaret's parish).
Emigrated to Perth Western Australia in 1860, and that had 4 children.
Any information or held appreciated, thanks.

Welcome to RootsChat! ;D
I assume the information you have is from the 1851 census?
Reference HO107, Piece 1737, Folio 54, Page 27
Pottersbury, Northamptonshire
Meakins, George Head M 30 Baker b Pottersbury
Meakins, Phebe Wife F 30 Dressmaker b Mixbury
Meakins, Phebe Daughter F 4 b Westbury, Buckinghamshire
Meakins, Joseph Son M 2 b Potterbury
Meakins, Mary Daughter F 2 weeks b Pottersbury
And, just to note, Mixbury is actually in Oxfordshire!
The River Ouse separates it from Northamptonshire. ;D
There doesn't seem to be any Phoebe Haddon/Hayden on the 1841 census.
So best bet would be to but the marriage certificate, and check who her father was named as.
December qtr 1945
Westminster district vol 1, page 407
Meakins, George
+ and on the same page +
Hadon, Phoebe (also transcribed as Haedom!)

yes, thank you.
I have detailled history on the family once they came to Australia, and details on George Meakins.
Phoebe is a challenge, nothing showing on any of the search engines.
I have a copy of their marriage certificate, however parents details are blank.
Any help appreciated.
cheers, john

Where, exactly, did the marriage take place in Westminster?
Was it a church (which one) or Register Office?
-
hi
the marriage certificate reads:
the Parish Church in the Parish of St Margarets West in the County of Middlesex
No 389, October 9th 1845.
Registration District - Westminster
George Adams address: Dartmouth Street, Occupation - Baker
Phoebe (Phebe) Hadon (Haedom??) address: Park Street, no Occupation
Witnesses: William Walton and Susan Black.
thanks, John

Hello John, and welcome to Rootschat!
Suggest that you have a look at the records for Mixbury on www.familysearch.org - plenty of Heydons including a Phoebe or two. Not exactly the dates you're looking for........ but you never know!

There's a Phoebe Hitchcox in Mixbury in 1841 age 20. I know surname isn't correct but will mention it anyway.
There's a James aged 20 and a John aged 1 so looks like a family and probably not her if she was a spinster? when she married.
As you were ;D

thank you to the people who responded, I may have found some leads.
