My father in law was in the RAF (ground crew) in WWII in Egypt and brought back lots of small black and white photos of people, planes and ships. They also went to Jerusalem. Is there anywhere I can send these where they might be of use to people? claytonbradley

get them scanned and post them on here ;) as sending them to a museum will more than likely mean they never see the light of day unless used for a specific exhibit once in a blue moon.

Thanks for the advice. It may take me a while, claytonbradley

Isn't there a family member who might treasure the them? It would be a shame for them to leave the family.
Do any of the photos of people have names on them? You may be able to trace descendants.

The photos have no names. I have contacted one cousin and she has checked that her grandfather isn't on any. Other branches are more distant and wouldn't be interested. One of my sons says he will have a go at posting them later, claytonbradley
