Hi Everyone,
I live in Ireland and i am trying to find as much information of my family.
My father, John Wynford Jones married Megan Turner. My father was a compositor/printer with Mr Proole. I was born, Howard Jones at the Rookery in 1951.
My parents moved to Abersychan but the family was spread with Aunties etc, Muriel Jones wed to Alf Edwards, a foreman in RTB works etc.
I suffered a stroke a few years ago and sadly lost some of my memory, so i would appreciate any help..i am prepared to pay for this.

I agree with Cardiff, but if you are trying to put together a family tree of ancestors, we can be of assistance.
Why not work out with living relatives what you can, then come back with specific questions about those of your ancestors who are no longer with us and we will do our best to help.

Sorry for not getting back to you...
I have tried different searches but to no avail...
Basically i have an issue that i can not contact living members of the family, plus in 2008 i suffered a stroke and have lost 70% of my memory.
I would dearly love to pass on my Welsh past to my sons here in Ireland before its my time.
I am prepared to give donation or payment to achieve this.
I was born on 24 Dec 51 in the Rookery Maternity, Ebbw Vale to John Wynford Jones of 52 Pennant Street [deceased] and Megan Turner. They had myself, Howard and my sister Meryl
My mothers, side; Her mother was called Olive and lived at Mount Pleasant road, I dont know my grandfathers name. Her brother was named Idris and sister Miriam.
My Fathers side, they lived at 52 Pennant street, his sister was Muriel, who married Alfred Edwards and owned this house till fairly recently...and had a daughter named Heaulwen.
I would be so gratefull if you can put me intouch with some sort of family tree.

I think you really need to get John and Megans marriage certificate to confirm both fathers names
John W Jones =m= Magan Turner 3rd qtr 1949 vol 8c page 252 Bedwellty Monmouthshire. but before we think about that do you know the following
What year did you dad die and how old was he? also your mothers death date and age?

Correction. My grandmother, Glenys, was the daughter of Charles and Blodwyd Jones. There is an Idris in our tree.
