Title: Annie Beatrice Crosby (1863 - 1920)
Post by: rutht22000 on Sunday 06 May 12 10:08 BST (UK)
Annie was born in 1863 and married Bulkeley Wynne Yorke Lodge (also known as Bulkeley Wynne-Yorke Wynne-Yorke in her probate registration).  Both Annie and Bulkeley were born in Liverpool and married there in 1888

Her husband had Welsh connections through his father Aneurin and Annie died in Denbighshire.   I have got his father's side back to the late 1790s.

Annie had one son - Bulkeley Aneurin Wynne Lodge who was also born in Denbighshire (not sure when), but they seem to disappear after the marriage until Annie dies in 1920.

I think that her son has some kind of New Zealand connection (possibly his wife Grace Caroline Jennings was from there), but if anyone can find any information about Annie, her husband and son post 1888. it will be gratefully received  :)

They had a Son PHILLIP also Reg March 1914, St Asaph

They may have gone back to NZ as Canterbury Electrol Rolls have a Grace Caroline Wynne-Yorke there up to 1957.
Also they were on the Rotorua arriving 2 Jan 1913 from London.
So looks like they did a bit of travel back and forth.

GRACE CAROLINE Wynne-Yorke died in NZ 1958, age 73

There was a Death Reg for a JEFFREY Wyne-Yorke 1929 age 4 also.

EDIT on the 1913 Shipping Record they were ages 24/26 so born c 1887/1889.
Grace was 2yrs older than Bulkeley.

Bulkeley is also on NZ Electrol Rolls up to the same date but I cant find his Death Reg. There is no option for soundex on NZ BMD Site.

(Death of Bulkeley Wynne-Yorke as 1964)

On Papers Past there are several Refs to Philip Wynne-Yorke on Radio Programmes singing. He was a Baritone :)

In the late 1940's annd 1950's/1960's/1970's there is a Philip Wynne and Daphne Elizabeth Wynne Yorke on Electrol Rolls in Victoria.
So looks like he moved to Australia.
