Hi All
Was hoping someone may be able to help me looking for any info on Susan Mariot.
She married my g g grand father William Rees, they had my g grandfather George Rees
born 1827 in London, I have nothing on Susan or William not sure where they were
married,their son George Rees came to Australia and married Kezia Deslandes in Melbourne
in 1858. I realise it's not much to go on thought it was worth a try.

Are you aware of the public tree on Ancestry, owned by 'andrewjfrost' ?
It seems to suggest that Susan's name could have been Susanna, and that George was born in 1824.

george rees son of william/susannah rees was born on the 16th may 1824
baptised on the 12th dec 1824 at st.katherine coleman,city of london
fathers occ; victualler
address at time of baptism; fenchurch street

by any chance ?

I must be getting good at this found similar info on ancestry public tree like Nick
suggested, seems to be my George as it had susannah Mariott as his mum, yippee
couldn't have found this stuff out with out you both.

Hi Jen. You can also read the book at this web site. You may have to open a free account first. The book has a lot of history about George Rees and his family. Let me know if it doesnt work for you.
