Hi,

I wondered if anyone could look up the MI for Joseph Thomson born about 1778, died 1843, buried 27 Feb 1843 in Torthorwald.

I believe his parents may have been John Thomson and Frances Wood as I have a baptism for a Joseph Thomson in Lochmaben in 1778. Any information regarding them would also be useful.

IMO Joseph Thomson, joiner who died at Roucan 23rd February, 1843 aged 70 years.Also Elizabeth Johnston his wife who died there 6th May 1859 aged 77 years.

The burial record I had from Scotlandspeople didn't have his occupation so now I know it is definitely him.

I also didn't have Elizabeth's date of death.
