John Allmand 1862-1939 died Croesnewydd Hospital . (No home address )
Frances Annie Allmand 1895-1938 died 4 Glan Garth Maes-y-dre
Is there anyone out there who knows of these people, both buried in Brymbo.
I`m unsure if there is any relationship between them.
I`m trying to establish who John was, I have most census records for the one I am looking for but this is the only death date that seem to match but I can`t prove it was him.
Can anyone help :)
-
Have you found John after 1891?I can't using soundex as well!
Regards
William Russell Jones.
-
As far as the Frances Annie is concerned she could well have been born Frances A Blizzard who married an Ernest W Allmand in 1915 at Wrexham.

Just checking - is he the John Allmand son of Robert and Emma - 1871 on RG10/5657/119/31 ?
PS - who was the informant on John's death cert?
-
The trail seems to lead back to this "Allman" family of John and Susannah in Bangor Flintshire in 1851-HO107/2502/492/7.It appears that John was the son of Robert given as 17 in 1851,and the Ernest W who I mentioned was the son of Edward given as 11 months old.

So Robert and Edward were brothers - thus Ernest and John were cousins and Frances Annie was married to Ernest - thus cousins in law
;)

I still can't find anything on the John(1862) after 1891?

I've been looking too and zilch so far. There's nothing on the burial record apart from what's been said :(
-
Just been looking through the deaths/burials - Frances Annie who died 1938 was only 43 (born circa 1895) so would she have been the wife of Ernest - maybe too young. He was born circa 1861 :-\
-
Ernest William was born in 1892.

I can't find the birth of the Frances Annie Tizzard?

Just going to say:
I think I got the Ernests mixed up -two generations :-[ There was a younger Ernest W - born circa 1892.
1901- RG13/5225/27/3I can't find the birth of the Frances Annie Tizzard?

William Russell Jones.

William Russell Jones.
-
Father was a George Harry Blizzard.
1901 RG13/5224/25/42
-
NW BMD - 1894 as Frances Annie Blizard - Wrexham WM/093/20
(one zzzzzzzzzzzz)
PS - so they were still cousins-in-law ;D
-
Yes the transcriptions on Ancestry leave a lot to be desired!

Thanks everyone, but I am not sure now he was buried in Brymbo, I have since found the two other people in Wrexham cemetery.
Someone found the original names on FindMyPast but even though it said Brymbo, it was Wrexham on the actual page,.
As he is not from this area, it was an easy mistake to have made.
I have John, ( not in 1901 ???) he is the son of Robert and Emma, he is last found in 1911 as Hallmond aged 55 living in Overton, there is no adress,( they are classed as vagrants,) bricklayers lab, there is a wife Mary 54 and a daughter Mary 17, but there is nothing to say how long they have been married,
From newpaper reports I have he was in trouble a few times after having a drink or fighting , in one he is charged along with his father Robert, also a bricklayer.
No marriage has been found or a baptism for Mary.
Robert may have died in the Workhouse
Jill Rose parish registers index.
393 Wrexham: ALLMAND
28 Feb 1883 bur/o Robert, aged 50, Workhouse
6 Jul 1878 bur/o Emma, aged 43, Albert Place
It`s just trying to find what happened to John thats the problem.

I know that FindMyPast marriages for Wrexham are all under Brymbo so burials could be as well
-
Its very interesting the life of the younger Mary Allmand you mentioned according to a Tree on Ancestry.

OK, , here he is, so where is he buried, ::) if this register is for St Giles, would he have been taken to another district for burial.

;D ;D ;D
I think I have cracked it, he seems to have been wrongly transcribed.
Wrexham Cemetery burials for Sept 1939 , all these are on the same page.
