You can find all your posts by going into the "profile" button along the top and looking at "show all posts". Whilst there you could check to make sure you have ticked the box for notifications of new replies. Once you have read a post it is not new so will not show if you click the "show new replies" link.
The number of messages refers to personal messages, not posts.

If you click on your own posts in your profile that will take you to the whole thread and you can see the replies.

thanks have now done this,, its not that easy though when you find new messages you want to reply to and they dissapear into the profile system before you get a chance to reply, i have as you will im sure have so many messages i have to start searching for the messages again and unless you make notes as soon as you read your new messages who they are from once you leave the page you cannot go back on who they were from, maybe would be helpfull if something can be done to save/confine new messages until replied to , thanks for your help,,,

Have you read through the posts on the link I gave you??

hi , yes thanks have read posts, but still on my unread posts they have all gone,,, having to trace them among all the messages on my profile, pity they cannot be held until i had a chance to reply ,like the private messages,,,,,

Have you ticked the box on your profile to be notified of replies to your messages?
If so, then once you have looked at a post once ,do not delete it off your email account and the link will be there to look at again when you ARE ready to reply to it ;D
