Was wondering if someone could tell me where the Zion Baptist Chapel in Merthyr Tydfil was? I remember hearing that my GG Grandparents attended the Zion Baptist Chapel. They lived at Coedcae Court, and Tramroadside Road North. Wondering if the Chapel was in that area? They had 6 children and also wondering if any of their children were married from there. Is there possibly a Chapel Registy of members or marriages, or deaths? Also wondering if there is a nearby Cemetery?
Thank you

On this webpage
http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/wal/GLA/MerthyrTydfil/Chapels.html
under
Zion, Twynyrodyn
it says
" There is a book ; Zion Welsh Baptist Church, Merthyr Tydfil, 1788-1988 = [Seion Eglwys y Bedyddwyr, Merthyr Tydfil]. Merthyr Tydfil : Zion Welsh Baptist Church, 1988 "
Perhaps Gwent Records Office (http://www.gwentarchives.gov.uk/) can help.

Thank you for your response Wendi
I have seen this book mentioned previously but the book is not available in Canada, and on Amazon.UK it is not available.
Being so far away I am not familiar with the area of Merthyr Tydfil. That is why I was asking if the Zion Baptist Chapel was in the area of Coedcae Court or Tramroadside North in the Lower Village.

Did you ever have your question answered? Who was your Great Grandfather? I am currently sitting just down the road from Zion Chapel, Merthyr, sadly now closed. My Father-in-law was the last secretary for the chapel, and may know of him. Old post, but I hope you still get this.
