Hi, I am new at this so hope I don't breach any rules of etiquette.
I was wondering if there is a way to look up a marriage between Thomas Pilbrow and Sophia Robinson in 1815. Not sure what quarter. It took place in Felsham,Suffolk. I desperately want to know who the parents are if listed.
I have been able to do this on line for my Norfolk family but Suffolk seems a little less easy.

The couple married on 15 Jun 1815, Felsham.
Familysearch.org records this christening:
Thos PILBROWN born 27 Apr 1795, christened 1 May 1795 parents William PILBROW & Elizabeth (nee ELDER).

Thanks so much. What I was wondering is if there is a record to look at that specifically shows the parents for the Thomas Pilbrow that married Sophia Robinson.

Welcome to Rootschat.
Parents are unlikely to be shown. Witnesses are usually all that are named.
If you have Thomas/Sophia on the 1851 Census where dob/pob are shown, then a Baptism/Christening is the only way to find their Parents names.
Also the namimg pattern of Children of Thos/Soph will be a clue to their Parents names.

ELIZA 29 June 1829
ELIZABETH 10 April 1831, Buried 14 Feb 1836
THOMAS DAVID 07 July 1833
JOHN 19 Feb 1837
ELIZABETH 13 May 1838
These all match Children at Home on 1841 Census except for Robert (may have left Home or died).
Other Children must have been born c 1816-1819 if Thos/Soph Married 1815 that have not been found ( or I cant with my access to Records)
I agree that the Christening that Keziah2 found is the most likely for Thomas.

Thomas consistantly names Daug's Elizabeth so his Mother is likely to be an Elizabeth.
Census has a WILLIAM Pilbrow born c 1818, Felsham who is likely to be another Son of Thomas/Sophia (cant find Christening though)
William PILBROW Married Jane TURNER 08 Feb 1839, Felsham, Suffolk
(Witnesses to that would be interesting)
1841 Census they are under Pelsham. They name their 1st Son Thomas :)
1851 they are under Pelbosom and living in Cockfield, Williams Occp is a Grocer.

1851 Census SARAH Pilbrow birth c 1823, Felsham is Visiting the Brewers in Bradfield. Down as Unm, Sister in Law of Head of House Robert Brewer.
Mary Ann PILBROW Married Robert BREWER, 07 May 1846, Felsham
So another Daug for Thomas/Sophia a MARY ANN c 1818 Felsham

To add to what Trish has said name similarity can go back generations
William & Elizabeth PILBROW (parents of Thomas bpt 1795) also had the following children
Hannah, John, Elizabeth, Caroline, Robert, Samuel & William
So in that 3 of them match with names used by your couple for their children this could be another good indication of a relationship. Plus William & Elizabeth being parents and/or siblings names.
