New Link 2019

Has various excel files listing records held by the Ken Hoole Study Centre in Darlington.

The only one I have personally used is the North Eastern Railway Servants Pension Society list. That lists the names of the members for which the Study Centre holds the record card and gives details such as date of birth, date of death, date entered service, grade and station they were employed at.

The records are now fully complete (updated 2018) They are available to view if you visit the centre in person, but I am not near enough to do that. A copy of the record card cost me £2 for a scan delivered by email (only payable by posting off a cheque) and it arrived the day after I posted the cheque:-).
The two cards I obtained have the info on the list plus details of the amount of pension paid, I don't know if the amount of info varies within the records.

The other files may also hold info of interest if you have ancestors who worked for the N.E.R.
