Thanks
Unfortunately I don`t have access to any records at the moment so am unable to check details.  :(

Toxteth fits in very well  :)

Any likely suspects for 1871  ;D

1871

a possible at a Wesleyan College in Charlcombe, Somerset born Holywell but given as born c 1859
and 2 others right age given as born Mold and Rhyl. Mold father in Railway police and Rhyl father no occupation given. A few others around the area but age or birth wrong. Plus of course plenty of just John Hughes.
 What do you think?

Hello everyone - I'm helping my wife research her family tree.

John William Hughes is her great grandfather.

Jane Hughes is her grandmother. Married Hugh Jones (killed in France 1917). Later married William Owen.

Jane's daughter, Amy Ada Jones, later Owen, is her mother - (married name was Ferguson).

It would be a very big help if you could point me towards any work already done.

Thanks
