I have quite a few family Victorian Photos taken in Manchester. Can any one tell me the dates these photographers used these addresses, or any details on these photogrape rs. i have tried searching on the internet but cannot find much information on Manchester Victorian Photographers.

As a matter of interest, have you tried searching for any of the photographer's on the census returns ?

Yes all the advice is proving helpful. It is just a pity no one has compiled a list before as my large cities have.

John Ingham 1842-1902 was very likely my Great-great Uncle as he had a son "Frank Ingham" who was a photographer with a studio at Brookes's Bar in Manchester.
