Could someone please try and find a Margaret Donelly born c 1845 in Dumfries in the 1901 census. She is probably a widow. Her children John 1873, Bridget 1877 and James 1875 may be living with her. Her father John Rafferty was living with her in the 1891 census.
Any help with this would be much appreciated.

Was Donelly her married name if you think she was probably a widow?
Just wondering if the age is out because the other names listed are Donelly not Rafferty so were they her children or her siblings ???
Conjecturing as can't view the original but if it was 55 instead of 35 she would be old enough to have had those children.

Wondering if Mary was Bridget Mary ??? Then the 1901 ages would fit the children

I was lucky enough to be helped with an earler post on Margarets mother and father.
It looks like Margaret joined her father after the death of her mother then later returned to Dumfries, her place of birth.
I think perhaps ages have been transcribed wrongly.

For future researchers.
I have downloaded the 1901 census for John Donelly from Scotlands People and find the address should be Burlington Street in Leith and the age of Margaret, his daughter is 55.
