The simple answer is - No! ;D

Arms are awarded to an individual, and NOT to a family name.

Direct descendants of the individual may use the arms, but nobody else is actually entitled to use them.

In Scotland it is against the law to use arms when not entitled!

See this page at the College of Arms website:

The only entry for Stinton in Burke's General Armory is for:

"Stinton (Lurgan, co. Armagh; confirmed, 1809, to George Stinton, Esq., of Lurgan).  Ar[gent] a fess wavy betw[een] three griffins' heads erased gu[les].  Crest - A griffin's head erased gu[les]."

In plainer terms, a white shield with a red, wavy horizontal stripe across the center, between three red griffins' heads, looking as if they had been torn off of the griffin.

I did not find any Stinton's in Fox-Davies' Armorial Families.

All that being said, as KGarrad noted, only direct descendants of George Stinton, Esq., of Lurgan are entitled to use the arms described above.
