The only way to view the original census page is on Scotlands People - you have to buy credits to do so.
I can view a transcript and the full entry for 1881 reads:
31 Channel Street, Melrose, Selkirkshire
Jane Turnbull 67 b. Eccles, Berwickshire
Joan Turnbull Dau. 28 Woollen Weaver ditto
Jane Turnbull Grand-daughter 12 ditto ditto

Hi Annette
I did get my information in Reply #1 from the original image and the full entry reads:
Jane Turnbull, widow, 67, - , born Berwickshire, Eccles - I miss-typed her age as 68 :-[
Joan Turnbull, dau, unm, 28, wool(l)en weaver, born -do-
Jane Turnbull, grd dau, unm, 19, wool(l) weaver, b. Roxburghshire, Morebattle.
These ages and PofB fit with the 1871 which I refer to in my first reply and to the birth reg which ev links to in Reply #2

Apologies Brevitas - however, only quoted the transcript as it is shown. It appears that Jane Turnbull was born 27/8/1861 Morebattle, illegitimate daughter of Helen Turnbull, shown as Agricultural Labourer. Presumably Helen was a daughter of Jane senior. Have now looked at 1881 on SP and definitely says Jane the younger grandaughter of Jane the elder.

:)
William was a shepherd on one of the children's certs. They seem to have moved around in the 3 counties - some of their children here, but I think they had more:
