Can you see if there is a Benjamin Sykes registered?

I am trying to find my 5th great grandfathers parents. He was born in 1731 and died in 1817.

Baptisms at Hunslet 1755 - Benjamin, s. of Jno Sykes, January 1.
The above being the only reference to Benjamin Sykes.
[Other Sykes names mentioned back to 1600's]
