Hi There
I have John and Eleanore Bernard visiting Jersey during the 1861 census where they were at 7a Saviours Road Jersey . John was an American / Frenchman. Eleanor turns up a couple of years later in Hastings England as a widow. Can you please check for me if John died on Jersey? I haven't found his death anywhere else he has been.
Thanks
Alex

Is it definitely the 1861 census as I can't find the entry you mention unless it's mis-transcribed
